From Living In A Box to Here Comes A... Tractor! - how it all began... |

| Ivor Novello Award nominee and founder member of 80's pop group 'Living In A Box', Marcus Vere could never have imagined, back in 1987, when the band first rocketed into the charts, that one day he'd be writing songs about diggers, tractors and fire engines! So it was some years later when his wife, Laetitia, came up with the idea of making a video about tractors for their little boy JJ, that this unusual career shift became reality. Marcus now writes all the songs for our productions and we are thrilled that those songs are now available for download on iTunes - you can even check out the Living In A Box songs while you are there! A chance meeting with Francesca Caleb-Landy, an experienced televison director, got Laetitia's idea under way. Francesca twisted the arms of the powers that be at John Deere Inc and they agreed to let us film. A week later, millions of pounds worth of farm machinery turned up in a field in Suffolk. Filming began, and Here Comes A... Tractor! was made. Since then, we have worked with the London Fire Brigade, H.M. Coast Guard, Multiplex, Virgin Trains, London Underground, Royal Mail and many others who have kindly assisted in the making of this fun series. |
